More updates on Sunny Runny N' Gunny soon. I've been reworking the leveling system, which isn't the most visual interesting update to show off. Sadly I don't think my original October 14th deadline is possible at this point, but I'm still gonna try for it.

I think I finally worked out what I'm going for with her.

The game is moving forward very swiftly. The cutscene and dialogue system has been implemented quickly, and the finer details of the story will be worked out soon.

In the mean time, have sketch of Sunny's Mom, Galaxia.

I had talked awhile ago about focusing my time working on a game. Well progress has been slow but steady.

At present most of my time has been focused on the gameplay. I'm glad to say that is almost fully realized. The basic functions are all laid out, there's just a lot of balancing and tweaking that needs to happen. The story of the game has gone neglected so in the coming weeks that's I'll be giving it more attention.

The basic plot will be that Sunny's husband, Laken, has been kidnapped by her cosmic mother Galaxia. She'll have to fight through all nine of her Celestial sisters as well as Galaxia herself in order to rescue him.

My main goal is to be able to update the project regularly with new chapters, characters, weapons, and misc other features as time goes on.

At present I'm aiming for October 14th (Sunny's Birthday) for the release of the first level, just to give an idea of what the rest of the game will be like.

Boy, this sure has been some adventure so far, huh? Since I've started Questern in November last year it's been one of the most fun art experiences of my life. I couldn't have done as much as have without all of you! Your input has led the story down paths I never imagined taking it when I first started. You've been a great audience, and this project would have never gotten anywhere without all of you.

Which is why it pains me to say that I will be putting Questern on hiatus for the time being. While it's been lots of fun drawing and writing Questern with all of you, I've been seriously working on a game, Sunny Run N' Gunny, for the past three months now. It takes a lot of work, and more importantly it takes a lot of time. I'm aiming to put the game out this year, maybe even within the next few months, so I'll be taking as much time as I can dedicated entirely to working on it.

I'd like to thank you all again for being such a great audience, and for having such a great time with me. Questern will return, and I hope to see you all again when it does.
